About Us
I'm a mech engineer in St Louis Missouri with 11+ years experience in design, manufacturing, and fabrication. After having a couple kits that Id been consistently selling in facebook groups, I finally decided to get my shit together here and start a company making aftermarket parts like I've always wanted to. I'm into a LOT of different stuff; autox, track racing, drifting, offroad/overlanding as well as scuba, birding, photography, reptiles, plants/native gardening, backyard pond, etc). Weird was chosen for the name because of the odd range of vehicles Ill be supporting, for my interest in niche fixes/upgrades, and for the odd range of hobbies and auto activities I'm into.
- My main goals for Weird Autoworks is to identify and go after kits that everyone wants but don't exist for whatever reason, or if they do exist I'm able to offer additional value over other options on the market.
- All kits come with instructions, and instructions are available on the website at launch. Customers should be able to know whats involved at install while they're considering a purchase. Selling kits to people with zero install/reference info is crazy to me but its the standard for plenty of vendors
- Plan is to keep anything I offer in stock and ready to ship in a day or so after orders are placed, if I start getting low on stock I get more on the way before more orders come in. Launches Ill usually make a feeler post and make a quantity for anyone who says they want one before I take anyone's money.
- Weird auto is a Diode Dynamics dealer! I'm a St Louis native and their headquarters are two exits down from my work. Will be offering discounts on combos with their lights/my kits
